Weiss Inspired

Happy Monday everyone, hope your weekend was full of fun times and laughter!

I enjoyed flipping through a few of my favorite home mags over the weekend. Lots of pink in House Beautiful, a Quadrille filled caribbean bungalow in Coastal Living, and lastly an Elle Decor showhouse decorated to the nines with 10 of San Francisco's top designers.
The image I am holding onto today is the one from Elle Decor and the breakfast nook designed by Palmer Weiss. There are so many things I love about this area (colors, rug, fabric, lighting, windows, table, just to name a few) but basically I just want it to be mine!

Voila, divine inspiration!

More Friday Favorites

It is Fashion Week in New York and here in Raleigh we are having our version too. I attended a Fashion show last night at Vermillion showcasing their looks for Fall and there were many divine pieces that I could have scooped up. Lots of layering, gorgeous textures, fur, and chic pieces by some of the best designers strutted down the runway. It really left me wanting more than anything... an express trip to New York! Another Friday and more of my favorite things...hope it is a good one!

Rue a new online magazine that features homes, entertaining, recipes, products, and trends just premiered... Definitely a weekend read.

Anya Hindmarch the brand of handbags, shoes, and clothing by British designer and mother of 5, Anya Hindmarch is fabulous!

Anya Hindmarch shown in her own home in a feature of Domino Magazine.

The Union Jack flag as an accessory to any space. The British invasion continues with this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood  rug on the wall.

Lucite and Jack, I am in love!

This amazing dress has a British feel to it.

San Francisco, CA based designer Palmer Weiss I adore for her use of color and she is spot on with the trend for fall...animal prints.  2 for 2 I love both, animals and Palmer!

Breakfast in Bed

Unknown image but so true

As I find myself waking up on a Saturday morning with 3 little munchkins, 2 jumping on my head barking orders, 1 crying from the crib and daddy gone for the first morning of the next 5 this is my thought for the day... ha, how true! I couldn't say it better and if I could find the darn website where I found it I would buy it, frame it and display proudly.
I have a short posting this morning because we have places to go, people to see but stay tuned because I have some great things to post and upcoming events going on this week.
Don't forget to comment on the Wine & Design posting, there are only 3 and a couple live out of town. Also if you are having a hard time becoming a follower let me know, some have told me this is the case and I need to check to the what the problem may be.

Palmer Weiss

I had my first look at Palmer Weiss in maybe Domino but she is a San Francisco, CA based interior designer with southern roots, raised in Charleston SC. Her designs are amazing, eclectic and out of sight and if I could choose a kitchen to sleep in here are few images of some she has in her portfolio that I would in a skinny minute! I will be featuring other works from the talented Mrs. Weiss in the future. I love her use of bold colors and her refined style.
Enjoy!
